Their old Toyota Stallion reached retirement and the "Golden Oldies" were excited that they no longer have to sit on benches in the back of their previous vehicle.

winter drive

Meals on Wheels Northern Cape hosted their annual car show on 22 May 2016. It was held at the DFA Park in Kimberley. The aim of the car show was to enhance the Winter Drive by asking members of the public to donate blankets & clothing which could be distributed to the poorest of the poor.

Cooks Training

Meals on Wheels has completed the final cooks training in Johannesburg. This is the first formal training we have given our cooks, for many of them this is the first formal training they have ever had. We are excited to be able to empower our cooks that work around the clock preparing meals for the hungry. The training program was a huge success with everyone gaining knowledge, friendship and faith.
